Chlamydia and gonorrhoea are common sexually transmitted infections (STIs) which often cause no symptoms, and can go undetected. When they do cause symptoms, they can cause painful urination, unusual discharge, and can lead to more serious health problems if left untreated. The test requires taking a urine sample for men, while for women it is a self administered swab test, to take a sample from the vagina
